ARMEX offers professional services for electrical measurement and testing of electrical systems up to 1000 V. Measurement and testing is provided for the purpose of checking equipment safety and compliance of electrical parameters to project specifications, norms and requirements. ARMEX has a mobile electrical measurement laboratory, which allows to perform any required testing of electrical systems and equipment, troubleshoot, assess their operational capability, as well as prevent potential failure. Mobile laboratory is registered with Moscow department of ROSTECHNADZOR, equipped with modern instrumentation and staffed with experienced personnel.
Electrical measurement laboratory services and test (measurement) types:
- Check-up of grounding connections of electrical systems;
- Measuring grounding resistance;
- Earth circuit check-up and measurement of transient resistance between grounders and grounding conductors, grounded equipment (components) and grounding conductors;
- Measuring earth resistivity;
- Measuring resistance of cable insulation, motor winding, secondary circuits and electric wiring, and electrical equipment up to 1000 V;
- Measuring ‘zero-phase’ impedance (single-phase short circuit current) in systems up to 1000 V with dead-earthed neutral;
- Testing protection function in power supply system with earthed and isolated neutral;
- Check-up and electrical measuring tests of mains automatic fuses;
- Check-up of automatic switches in electrical systems up to 1000 V;
- Measuring contact transient resistance and winding resistance of electrical machines and transformers;
- Measuring dc resistance of power transformers and oil switches;
- Testing and measuring voltage and current transformer characteristics;
- Checking protecting cutout devices;
- Checking emergency lighting circuit;
- Measuring resistance to grounding device current spreading;
- Checkup of lightning protection systems for buildings and other facilities.
According to requirements of supervisory authorities (Rostechnadzor, fire inspection, sanitary inspection, etc.), electrical equipment measurement and testing and insulation resistance measurement of electric systems, earthing devices, etc. should be carried out on a regular basis. Frequency of tests depends on characteristics of electrical systems, operating conditions, as well as norms and regulations. In addition, the laboratory performs routine electrical measurements for failure diagnostics or detection of electrical equipment or systems, that are out of operation or do not meet the norms and operating requirements. A wide range of services, provided by the laboratory, allows to prevent accidents (electrical injury), fire, early failure of electric equipment, etc.
As a rule, all electrical measurement services of the laboratory are needed at commissioning phase of the project. The laboratory performs acceptance tests and measurements of electrical equipment after installation and determines whether it is ready for operation.
ARMEX electrical measurement laboratory is registered with Moscow department of Rostechnadzor (Certificate of registration # 3579 of July 20, 2009) and licensed to perform precomissioning, routine testing and measuring of electrical equipment and systems up to 1000 V.
Results of electrical measuring and testing, performed by ARMEX laboratory, are registered in test logs that form Technical Report, reflecting technical condition of electrical equipment and systems at the time of testing. Technical Report, based on testing and measuring results, is one of the documents, required for commissioning of electrical systems and equipment or for their further operation.
ARMEX mobile laboratory is staffed with certified specialists, highly qualified and experienced in measuring and testing at different kinds of facilities. All staff members of the laboratory are licensed to perform electrical testing and measurements.
